7 Energy Remedies to Cleanse Your Home (No Special Tools Needed)
Negative energy lingers in homes — from arguments, illness, even old furniture. These 7 remedies are what I prescribe to clients after readings — none of them need anything you don't already have at home.

Why your home needs energetic cleansing
Everything is energy — including the walls, the corners, the bed your last relationship slept in. When clients tell me they feel "stuck", "heavy", or "like nothing's moving" — 8 times out of 10 the issue isn't them. It's the energy field of where they live.
These are the 7 remedies I prescribe most often. Pick 2–3 and do them this weekend. You'll feel the difference within 7 days.
1. The salt water corner cleanse
Mix 1 tablespoon of rock salt (sendha namak, not iodised) into a glass of water. Place one glass in each of the 4 corners of your home for 24 hours. The water will turn cloudy — that's absorbed negative energy. Flush it down the toilet (not the sink). Repeat weekly during difficult phases.
2. Camphor + clove sweep
Light a small piece of camphor (kapur) in a flameproof bowl. Add 2–3 cloves. Carry it through every room clockwise. Pay extra attention to corners, behind doors, and the area where you sleep. The smoke binds and burns stagnant energy.
3. The 6 AM doorway prayer
Open your main door at 6 AM. Stand in the threshold facing east. Take 3 slow breaths in and say (silently or aloud) — "Let what should leave, leave. Let what should enter, enter." Then go about your day. Sounds too simple. Works.
4. Gangajal in a copper bowl
If you have Gangajal (water from the Ganges, available bottled), pour a small amount into a copper bowl and place it in your living room. Refresh every full moon. It quietly anchors purity in the space.
5. Move the salt under the bed
Put a small bowl of rock salt under your bed, in the center, before you sleep. In the morning, throw it out (don't flush — out of the house). Do this for 11 nights when sleep has been disturbed or there's been illness.
6. Sunlight every window
Open every window for at least 30 minutes between 8–10 AM. Sunlight is the most ancient cleanser. No incense, no mantra, no ritual beats it.
7. Mantra audio in the puja corner
If you have a puja corner, play the Gayatri Mantra or Mahamrityunjaya Mantra on low volume for 30 minutes in the morning. The vibration of the syllables shifts the field of the room measurably.
When to do a deeper cleanse
